Ora House is a community of God's people discovering what it means to live in the image and likeness of God by following the image and likeness of God, Jesus Christ.
We choose to follow the way of Christ, leaning into the rhythms of life that God has woven into the fabric of creation. We do this together through spiritual direction and formation, learning to meditate on Him through contemplative prayer, Holy Scripture, the sacramental and liturgical life of the Church, and sacred art. Together, we commit to journeying along His path, so that we may mature into His image and become truly human.
Participate in Ora House
People are welcome to participate in Ora House’s community in whatever way benefits their formation most, while ensuring that their participation translates to their daily lives and community. Ora House is not only about personal commitment, but also societal change. We want to help each member of our community establish a Christo-centric, image-bearing culture in their Parish and community.
We aim to support men and women of all Christian traditions into a prayerful and contemplative vision and practice of faith. We are a living organism maturing and growing into the image and likeness of God, Jesus Christ. We would love to have you join us in learning what it means to be human.
Spiritual Direction
One of the main practices Ora House offers is Spiritual Direction. If you live in southern Alberta or Abbotsford, we have Spiritual Directors available for face-to-face direction meetings. We also have the opportunity to meet online with any of them.
